Educational Zoom With Sophie Brooks
Gender-Affirming Aesthetics is an area of practice that remains widely under-discussed within the aesthetics industry — yet it is one of the most important spaces for clinicians to approach with care, understanding, and clinical responsibility.

About the event
This members-only session has been designed to provide a clear, structured introduction to this evolving field, helping you understand where aesthetic treatments may (and may not) fit within a patient’s transition journey.
Led by Sophie Brooks, this session will explore:
• What gender-affirming aesthetics actually means in clinical practice
• Where injectables can support facial alignment with identity
• The importance of consultation, language, and patient experience
• How to create a more inclusive, safe, and informed clinic environment
• Considerations when working with neurodivergent and marginalised patients
This is not about trends or treatments in isolation.
It’s about expanding your clinical awareness, improving patient experience, and understanding the role you play as a practitioner.
Why Attend?
This is a niche but rapidly growing area of aesthetics that many clinicians feel underprepared for.
Understanding gender-affirming care is no longer optional - it is part of delivering safe, ethical, and patient-centred practice.
For members, this session offers the opportunity to:
• Build confidence in an area that is often misunderstood
• Develop a more inclusive and informed consultation approach
• Strengthen your positioning as a clinician, not just a treatment provider
• Learn from a practitioner working at the intersection of aesthetics, sexual health, and community care
